The more people that walk past it, the more likely it is that something such as the nozzle will become damaged, the seal could become broken, or the canister could become dented. Replace all damaged extinguishers. If you find that this is happening often, you will want to find another place to store the extinguisher, while ensuring that it is still within easy reach of everyone.
Inspect The Surroundings Of It
You will need to make sure that you are always keeping the perimeter of the fire extinguisher free of all debris or various hazards that could hide it from plain sight or cause you to be unable to grab it quickly in an emergency.
